Date: July 20 - 22  (Friday - Sunday)

Event: First SH tour - Malacca
Venue:
Malacca, A World Heritage Site, West Malaysia
Time: 6.45 am (Friday) - 9pm (Sunday)

Our first tour was launched on Friday, 20 July at 6.45 am sharp. We boarded the tour bus at Newton Food Centre car park and began a 3D2N tour to Malacca. The tour highlights included a Malacca River cruise that opened our eyes to its history and beauty and the visit to the Baba Nonya Heritage Museum was a most enjoyable experience.

On the way home on Sunday, we visited a Bee Farm outlet, a Brown rice outlet and a bird nest plant. Shopping followed after the talks and there were plenty to buy. We also have a durian meal at a durian plantation that we could eat to our satisfaction. A visit to the Johore Premier Outlet, the latest fad mall opened just last year completed the shopping spree. We even enjoyed ourselves, when we were caught in a jam on the way to the 2nd Link Check point. Singing and dancing on the bus kept us entertained and made the jam bearable.

Home sweet home by 10 pm!
