 Day 1: Singapore/Kota Kinabalu (02 Sep Wed) (Meal on Board)

• Evening: Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) TR416 1700/1930hrs and check into our hotel

Day 2: Kota Kinabalu/Sandakan – Heritage&Coastal Flavours (BLD)

• Breakfast at hotel
• Take a 45-minute flight from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan (SDK) AK6486 0915/1005hrs
• Late Morning: Sandakan Heritage Trail

Start with the Agnes Keith House and St. Michael’s and All Angels Church, both significant historical sites.

• Lunch: English Tea House

Located right next to the Agnes Keith House, enjoy lunch with a view of the bay.

• Late Afternoon: Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, located on a hilltop with sweeping panoramic views of Sandakan Bay (use transport)
• Evening: Sim Sim Floating Village

Explore the stilt houses and visit Sim Sim Seafood 88 for a seafood dinner

• Check into hotel or explore nearby Kim Fung Market

Day 3: Sandakan – The Big Three Wildlife (BLD)

• Morning: Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre

Arrive by 10:00 AM to witness the morning feeding session.

• Midday: Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre

Located directly across the car park from the orangutans, it’s an easy transition to see the world’s smallest bears.

Lunch at Sepilok Jungle Resort or similar

• Afternoon: Rainforest Discovery Centre

Walk the 620m-long canopy walkway for bird watching and a unique perspective of the jungle.

• Late Afternoon: Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary

Head here for the late afternoon feeding to see these endemic long-nosed monkeys up close

Dinner – Empire Seafood Restaurant or Sandakan Fishing Association

Day 4: Sandakan – Memorial Tribute and Market (BLD)

• Follow with visit to the Sandakan Memorial Park to honour POWs.
• Visit to the Sandakan Central Market to buy dried seafood or local specialties like UFO Tarts
• Sandakan Wet Market offering fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables, as well as salted seafood popular with tourists
• Harbour Mall Sandakan – the only busy and happening shopping mall in Sandakan
• Balin Roof Garden Bistro for sunset and dinner

Day 5: Sandakan/Kota Kinabalu – Lifestyle (BLD)

• Breakfast at hotel
• Morning: Sandakan Sunday Market (Tamu): Fresh seafood, tropical fruits, local vegetables, and traditional Malay/Sabahan snacks (optional).
• Transfer to the airport for our flight to Kota Kinabalu AK6487 1030/1120hrs
• Lunch: Sasa Chinese Seafood Restaurant before check into hotel
• Evening: Head to Tanjung Aru Beach for a world-renowned sunset. Dinner @ Kg Nelayan Seafood with performance

Day 6: Kota Kinabalu/Singapore (07 Sep Mon) (B, Meal on Board)

• Breakfast at hotel
• A free day at leisure to explore this lovely city on own especially at Gaya Street, just 5 mins’ walk from our hotel with its many popular restaurants or explore Imago Shopping Mall (via quick GRAB cab)
• Transfer to airport TR417 2030/2255hrs for SIN (Meal on Board)
