DAY 01: SINGAPORE – PADANG – BUKIT TINGGI (L, D)

Depart from Changi Airport on a quick direct flight to Padang. Welcome to Minangkabau International Airport. Upon arrival, be warmly greeted by our professional English-speaking guide and tour team. Lunch is served at a local restaurant – Soto Padang, a local signature dish. Sit back and relax as you enjoy a scenic drive to Bukit Tinggi, a charming highland town (900 msl) famous for its cool climate, colonial heritage, and Minangkabau culture. Along the way, stop at Kayu Tanam to taste fresh local durians and stop at Bika Talago Kotobaru, a popular local snack where you can also taste traditional Minangkabau delicacies. Upon arrival in Bukit Tinggi, check in at the hotel and enjoy some time to refresh. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, featuring authentic West Sumatran cuisine. Overnight in Bukit Tinggi.

 DAY 02: BUKITTINGGI – HARAU – BUKITTINGGI (B, L, D)

 After breakfast at the hotel, depart on a day’s excursion for Harau Valley, one of West Sumatra’s most breathtaking natural attractions. Marvel at the towering cliffs, lush rice fields, and cascading waterfalls that surround this spectacular valley.  Enjoy photo opportunities and fresh mountain air as you explore the area. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we return to Bukit Tinggi for a city tour.  Visit Panorama Baru, offering stunning views of the Sianok Canyon, followed by a visit to Jam Gadang, the iconic clock tower and symbol of Bukit Tinggi. Enjoy free time at Pasar Atas, a traditional market well-known for handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products. Dinner at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel and overnight in Bukit Tinggi

DAY 03: BUKITTINGGI – ISTANA PAGARUYUNG – PARIANGAN – SOLOK (B, L, D)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue our journey to Istana Basa Pagaruyung, the magnificent royal palace of the Minangkabau Kingdom. Learn about Minangkabau history, architecture, and customs. You may also like to try on traditional Minangkabau attire for photos (at your own expense). Proceed to Pariangan Village, one of the oldest villages in Minangkabau land, for a scenic photo stop surrounded by rice terraces and traditional houses. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue our journey to Solok, passing by the picturesque Lake Singkarak, known for its serene views. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Solok.

Day 04: SOLOK – ALAHAN PANJANG – PADANG (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Today’s journey begins with an Alahan Panjang City tour, enjoying scenic views at Cambai Hills, Visit the refreshing Tea Plantation, followed by photo stops at the panoramic viewpoints of Lake Atas and Lake Bawah. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Afterwards, the journey continues to Padang via the scenic Sitinjau Laut road, famous for its dramatic coastal and mountain views.  Dinner at a Padang Old Town restaurant, followed by hotel check-in.

DAY 05: PADANG (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your Padang city exploration. Visit Christine Hakim Culinary Center to observe the traditional process of making Rendang, Indonesia’s world-famous dish. Lunch is served here and perhaps bring back some local made packed rendang. Continue to Padang Hills where you can enjoy panoramic relaxing coastal views and enjoy snack time at a café. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Apollo Restaurant, well-known for its local Chinese specialties. Return to the hotel and overnight in Padang.

DAY 06: PADANG – SINGAPORE (B)

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at leisure or check out and proceed for a short city drive passing Pantai Padang (Padang Beach) with a stop at Silungkang, famous for its traditional woven fabrics.  Transfer to Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) for your departure flight back to Singapore.
