It has come to our attention that unauthorized individuals may be misrepresenting our organization. Please be aware of scammers using our website and impersonating our EXCO personnel to fraudulently deceive you into signing up for bogus tours or tour groups. A police report has been filed.
To protect our members and the public, please take note of the following:
- No Official App: We do not have a mobile app. Any app claiming to represent us or offer our services is fraudulent.
- No Fee Collection: We never collect fees for our tours through any third-party apps or social media platforms as they are to be paid directly to our licensed travel agents. Payment for our membership application and events are made directly to our bank account.
- No Phone Solicitations: We do not call members to solicit money, donations, or sensitive information.
- Official Information: Our only official source of information is our website at silverhorizontravel.com
Official Tours Only: Silver Horizon Travel Co-operative organizes travel programs exclusively for our members. We do not organize tours on behalf of other groups, which could be scam websites.
EXCO Integrity: Our EXCO members are dedicated to organizing elder-friendly tours for Silver Horizon Travel Co-operative. They will never refer you to join another travel group or website.
Secure Payments: Silver Horizon Travel Co-operative will never ask for your credit card details. Payments for tours are made directly to licensed travel agents we collaborate with. Always verify the payee’s name and company before making any payment. Never share your credit card details with a third party or reveal any passwords.
Membership Benefits: Silver Horizon Travel Co-operative is a regulated cooperative society with necessary checks and balances. If you are not yet a member, please consider officially joining for your safety and protection.
