 Day 1 (Tue, 30 Sep): Singapore - Hanoi - Orientation (Meal on Board/L/D)

Depart this morning from Singapore for Hanoi on Singapore Airlines. On arrival at Noi Bai International airport, meet our English speaking tour guide and transfer to Ha Noi city to have a Vietnamese lunch at a popular restaurant that features authentic street food.  

After lunch, we head to the Old Quarter and board a private cyclo (trishaw) for a tour of the vibrant Old Quarter before we join a join a ceramic painting workshop with skilled artisans from Bat Trang ceramic village. Bat Trang is one of the most well-known traditional ceramic villages with a history of seven centuries of making and painting quality ceramic products. The artisans provide invaluable insights and techniques to help you unleash your creativity and create beautiful pieces of art (Our finished product will be fired and ready for pickup within just 1-2 days).  We then check into our hotel before we move to our next programme to watch a mesmerizing Water Puppet show, a Vietnamese tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century, when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta. Then we enjoy dinner at local popular Vietnamese restaurant by Hoan Kiem Lake before we return to our hotel to rest.

 Day 2 (Wed, 01 Oct 2025): Hanoi – Ha Long ‘Bai Tu Long’ Bay cruise (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, we check out and depart Ha Noi for Ha Long, enjoying the great scenery of the surrounding farmlands of the Red River Delta including rice fields, water buffalos and daily life of Vietnamese villagers. The wondrous Bai Tu Long Bay at Ha Long is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Welcome onboard by the crew of our private luxury boat. This exciting cruise provides a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. We enjoy delicious Vietnamese lunch at our Panorama Restaurant on the 03rd deck while admiring the grace of the bay. Later we go on an offshore visit to Me Cung Cave (Cave of Maze) with its historical and archeological values about Ha long culture 10000 years ago.   Then a chance to try paddling safely around the calm water while exploring the stunning landscape. Back to our boat for canapes and tea before joining in the cooking demonstration and try your skill in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking in the sun deck in a truly stunning setting. At night, the cruise anchors away from the crowds at the Bay, enabling you to enjoy dinner amongst the quietness and romance of the bay. And if you are still up for it, try your hand in squid fishing. Enjoy a restful sleep on the calmness of the bay!

 Day 3 (Thu, 02 Oct 2025): Bai Tu Long Bay cruise (B/L/D)

Enjoy Vovinam exercise in the sunshine morning on sundeck before luxury breakfast is served at Can Chanh Palace Restaurant. Bai Tu Long Bay is the name of an area located in the east of Ha Long Vietnam. Although it shares many similar geological characters with Ha Long, Bai Tu Long Bay is considered as off the beaten tourist track with many deserted and pristine beaches, no less impressive karst mountains. Transfer to a day boat to visit Viet Hai Village. Take an electric car through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a rice-field vista. Visit a traditional house in a village deep in a national park where you can observe the lifestyle of the local people and enjoy lunch in the village. Visiting the Cat Ba Archipelago, cruise through Cai Beo floating village and then go to the Ba Trai Dao beaches where you can visit secret cave and beaches, enclosed by vertical cliffs (if the weather and tide permit) or just swimming and kayaking in Tra Bau area. Back on our boat, enjoy massage service or join special tour of art and history about Pham Luc’s paintings or Emperor Bao Dai’s palaces.   Bai Tu Long Bay served as a filming location for the movie "Kong: Skull Island". It is another fulfilling day exploring the wonders of the bay less visited by the masses! Tonight enjoy a royal dinner donning traditional Vietnamese costume and be a King or Queen inspired by the lavish lifestyle of Emperor Bao Dai, the last Emperor of Vietnam

 Day 4 (Fri, 03 Oct 2025): Ha Long - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Enjoy a vovinam exercise on the sundeck before a light breakfast and go on a ride on a bamboo boat visiting Luon Cave. Sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local, you can see a variety of plants such as ferns, cycads, Benjamin’s fig trees, and many beautiful orchids. After checking out, enjoy brunch as we cruise back to the harbor where our driver is waiting to transfer us to Hanoi. Enroute we visit local specialty shops famous for local delicacies (preserved fruits, traditional rice cakes). On arrival at Ha Noi, check in to our hotel and free at our leisure time. And if you are up for it, why not join us to an egg coffee making demonstration or indulge in a bowl of famous Pho or both? Following dinner at a local popular restaurant, we can explore the night market at the Old Quarter.

 Day 5 (Sat, 04 Oct 2025): Ha Noi - O Quy Ho Pass - Sapa (B/L/D)

After an early breakfast, we check out and board our coach to Sapa (5-6 hours via highway). Reaching Sapa, we enjoy lunch at a Top 10 restaurant featuring grilled fish - grilled skewered meats, corn, sweet potatoes, yams, and bamboo-cooked rice.   Then on the way to O Quy Ho pass, you can watch the waterfall of love flowing from above. Further on, Silver Waterfall Sapa stands out as a truly magnificent gem. Cascading down with grace and power, the majestic waterfalls captivate visitors with their awe-inspiring beauty. At the summit of O Quy Ho Pass (2 000 msl), also known as O Quy Ho Heaven’s Gate, you can see the green terraced fields that have now turned to the yellow color of ripe rice, watching the whole valley put on a bright yellow color like a sea. We enjoy a cuppa at O Quy Ho Café while taking in the breathtaking scenery. After that, return to Sapa town for dinner with salmon hotpot.

 Day 6 (Sun, 05 Oct 2025): Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Sapa (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we take a 2.5 hour drive to Bac Ha Town – home of Flower H’Mong ethnic people. Visit Bac Ha market – the most vibrant weekly market with inhabitants of Ethnic People. The market itself is a gathering place for the many other ethnic minority tribes such as the Dzao, Tay, Nung and Phu La to trade and sell their wares and it is always full of life. It is most well-known for providing handmade goods, many different types of local wines, local food, and for trading animals including horses, dogs, birds, snakes, goats, and especially water buffalo. 

After shopping in the market and having lunch at local restaurant, we visit a nearby Black H’mong village to witness local traditions and daily life.   Returning to Sapa, we visit the local market and for the more adventurous, you can visit Cat Cat village - recommended by those who love walking, especially in Sapa, as the most striking village in Northwestern Vietnam (optional) Dinner at a Top 10 restaurant.

  Day 7 (Mon, 06 Oct 2025): Sapa – Fansipan - Ha Noi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we check out and transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station that takes us about 15 minutes instead of 3-day climbing two to four days as before. We ride the world’s longest three-rope cable car up the Fansipan Peak (Roof of Indo China) at 3143 msl. The weather on top of Fansipan can be chilly, so it's recommended to bring a jacket (and a raincoat/umbrella), even on sunny days. After arriving at the station, we may want take the funicular train to the top of Fansipan peak (Note: Those with heart or lung conditions can opt out climbing to Fansipan Peak, as the route rises to more than 3,000 metres, with high humidity and oxygen-deficient air) or you can stay and explore the stunning Fansipan Legend, which features the Bamboo Garden, Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien, and so much more. We return to Sapa by cable car for lunch before transfer to Ha Noi by highspeed road (about 5.5 hours). Arrival at Ha Noi, check in hotel and free at your leisure time till dinner at a popular local Vietnamese restaurant.

 Day 8 (Tue, 07 Oct 2025): Hanoi - Singapore(B)

Breakfast at the hotel.  Free at your own leisure or perhaps enjoy an early morning stroll by the lake before we check out and transfer to the airport for our flight home. Arrive Singapore this late afternoon.
